Some actors are so good at portraying a character that we end up thinking they’re born for this role. When you think of the character, that actor pops in your head first automatically. Pedro Pascal is one of the most successful actors in the entertainment industry currently. He has a number of memorable roles under his belt such as Game of Thrones’ charming Oberyn Martell and Din Djarin on The Mandalorian. However, you have to be a special case where people remember you for a death scene on a show even more. Yes, we are talking about Oberyn Martell’s death scene on Game of Thrones.

Pedro’s Oberyn Martell was an amazing character, and his death on the show was particularly gruesome. While filming for his new movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, he visited the site of his famous death scene. He told Entertainment Weekly, “We were shooting in Dubrovnik spitting distance away from that arena where I got my skull crushed-in. I got to revisit it around the same time of year that we shot that Game of Thrones [episode]. It was like a full circle for me.”

Pedro is really proud of that scene. He recently stated it made him feel like a boss. Do you think getting your skull crushed by The Mountain is something to be proud of? Talk to us in the comments below!
