Olivia Cooke hopes Season 2 of House of the Dragon will be just as good after Miguel Sapochnik’s exit

Considering how popular Game of Thrones is, there are times when the intricate machinery that keeps it running encounters difficulties or requires quick adjustments. Many fans were shocked when Miguel Sapochnik, one of the show’s founding figures and a co-showrunner, abruptly left the prequel series House of The Dragon after it had already achieved considerable success. Actress Olivia Cooke recently talked about how she felt about his departure.
Miguel Sapochnik’s departure left a void in the production of House of the Dragon
Cooke recently opened up about the famed director’s exit from the show in the UnWrapped podcast, “We all love Miguel, he’s a brilliant director and an incredible collaborator. He had just really radical ideas when it came to making this show. And I guess there’s been this collective effort to fill his shoes with other amazing directors.”
Olivia Cooke hopes House of the Dragon Season 2 is better than Season 1
Cooke went on to reveal, “This year we have Gita Patel and Clare Kilner, I mean sure we still have issues, we can’t replace him completely because he was his own entity. But there’s still that proportion to make this season just as good, if not, better.”
