Sophie Turner, who is best known for playing Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, will play the title character in the upcoming drama television series “Joan.” According to rumors, the TV show is based on real-life diamond thief Joan Hannington. She looks captivating in the newly leaked photos from the set!

What will the story of ‘Joan’ be about?

Joan (Sophie Turner) is a young lady in her twenties who is married to a violent thug in the 1980s when the drama series begins. Her four-year-old daughter is also her responsibility. When her husband goes missing, she seizes the opportunity to leave her old life behind with her kid. Her narrative as a housewife and mother to the diamond thief and one of London’s most known female criminals will be told in the series.

When will ‘Joan’ be released?

While the premiere date for the TV series is unknown, ITVX, where the show will be streamed, has revealed that production is presently ongoing. The show has begun filming at Herne Bay, Kent, and will continue in additional locations. It appears that the TV show will be released in early 2024.
