New HBO promo shows Game of Thrones stars with their season 7 outfits
It’s been quite a while since Game of Thrones Season 6 ended, and we have had to survive on bits and pieces since then. Season 7 was produced on a delayed schedule this year, with filming ending at the end of February, and release scheduled for July 16th. While we still have over three months to go, HBO is now easing up on the release of official promotional bits. The latest HBO promo focussing on their programming, showed some of our favorite Game of Thrones stars in their character costumes. Read on!
After we got the first promo with the release dateannouncement, and ateaser trailerthat followed, HBO recently aired a promo with major stars from its shows. Naturally, the promo had Game of Thrones faces, too. Total five stars from the show were in the promo : Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark),Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow.) The promo basically has all the stars chant “Ahhhhh” in different styles, with all of them eventually culminating to form the similar sound we hear with the HBO intro before the static noise closes down on it. Check out the promo, below :
The best thing is that we get a clear look at everybody’s costumes. Daenerys has gotten her shiny new red and black dress, worthy of a queen, and Isaac got clean new brown furs. Take a look at all the stars from the show who featured in the HBO promo.
Bran Stark AKA the new Three-Eyed Raven is warging while being covered in fur.
Sansa Stark seems to have a slight change with a new ring holding her cloak.
Tormund Giantsbane is wearing the usual wildling clothes but he has a scar on his forehead!
Daenerys Targaryen is wearing the new attire which we saw in the Game of Thrones season 7 teaser trailer. She doesn’t say a word in this promo, her dragons do the work for her.
Jaime Lannister has the same costume. Hardly any difference over here.
It’s almost as if HBO is trying to make up for the delayed release date by keeping us excited with these little bits. Perhaps we’ll be seeing an official season poster and a full blown trailer soon, with a sizable amount of footage from the next season. What do you think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
