There are a lot of things Game of Thrones does right, and one of them is the music. Forget about the music inside the show, the theme tune of the show itself is one of the greatest thing ever. Anybody who has watched the show knows how catchy the theme tune is, and how none of us can resist singing along to it. The theme tune has been covered by quite a few artists, including 2CELLOS. Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens have also covered the Game of Thrones theme, and it’s amazing!
Some of you might already know the YouTube personalities, violinist Lindsey Stirling and singer Peter Hollens, who previously collaborated on the Skyrim theme song cover, before, which had gone viral. The Game of Thrones theme cover is their return to collaborations, and they couldn’t have done better! Check out the video, below :
Impressive, right? Also, don’t forget that every sound you hear in the video is coming either from Sterling’s Violin or Hollens’ mouth, which cover 140 tracks in total. Not only is the music mesmerizing, the video is well directed and produced, too. All things said and done, this cover easily goes into our five best Game of Thrones theme tune covers of all time. Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens should definitely do more collaborations. Maybe they could cover more tunes from Game of Thrones, especially the Rains of Castamere. Why not just cover all of them, while they’re at it? The duo can definitely pull it off.
How did you like the cover, and which other Game of Thrones tunes would you like to see the pair cover? Tell us in the comments, down below!
