Although the official anniversary of Game of Thrones is on April 17, these Funkos won’t arrive until August of this year. But the figures are available for pre-order. So you can ensure that you’ll have the entire Iron Anniversary set by the time August rolls around.
The Funko Pop figures include the iconic moment when Ned Stark sat on the Iron Throne, Tyrion Lannister holding a shield, Arya Stark practising her water dancing, Robb Stark with his sword, Khal Drogo holding his daggers, and Drogon, who’s available as an Iron Deco Pop and keychain.
There are two places that you can place a pre-order at the highly sought-after anniversary Funkos. All of these figures can be pre-ordered at Entertainment Earth right now. A super-sized Drogon Pop will soon be available at Target as an exclusive as well.

Game of Thrones will witness its 10-year anniversary on 17th this month. Fans of the show dearly miss the excitement of watching a new episode every week. HBO is trying to revive the tradition with a number of prequel shows. House of The Dragon is already on the way, while three more series are in development at the headquarters. However, it seems there’s more for Game of Thrones fans they can look forward to. George R.R. Martin is developing a live stage spectacular for Broadway. The play will bring fan-favourites like Ned Stark and Jaime Lannister back to life. And it seems like Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is quite interested to watch it come to life.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau retweeted The Hollywood Reporter’s article about the upcoming drama. He asked, “Where can I get a ticket?” Well, the answer right now is nowhere, although the goal is to debut the play on Broadway in New York City, at the West End in London, and in Australia in 2023. Hopefully well after the coronavirus has receded and theatres are back open.
This is a surprising tweet coming from Coster-Waldau. The actor had earlier said he doesn’t miss Game of Thrones and he’s done talking about it. Well, it seems deep down he does share a bond with the land of Westeros.

The more versatile an artist is, the more coveted they are. There are many examples of highly talented actors like Christian Bale or Tilda Swinton who have played vastly different roles. They transform themselves completely, often going to extreme measures to bring out the aura of their character. Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has undergone a big transformation for her latest role.
The actress is playing model Pamela Rooke in a new TV drama about the punk band The Sex Pistols. In a behind-the-scenes picture from the set, Maisie can be seen rocking Rooke’s signature look – a huge blonde bouffant hair with matching bleached eyebrows.
She was also sporting a dramatic winged eyeliner with red lips. The 23-year-old was dressed in a transparent, yellow overcoat over black suspenders and stockings with white ankle boots.
Rooke, also known as Jordan, was noted for her work with Dame Vivienne Westwood, attending early Sex Pistols gigs and creating the W10 London punk look. Trainspotting director Danny Boyle is heading up the six-part series about the Johnny Rotten-fronted band.
Pistol, based on guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir, will chart the band’s rise to fame in the 1970s. Are you excited about the upcoming biopic series? Talk to us in the comments below!
Even though we live in the 21st century, violence against women doesn’t seem to end. Gender-based violence cause half of our population to live under constant fear. Many of these acts were projected through Game of Thrones. The fantasy show may have been inspired by the medieval period, but the poor treatment of women still exists in present times. Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin and actress Sibel Kekilli (Shae) have United against gender-based violence in Turkey.
Martin wrote on his blog Not a Blog, “My dear friend Sibel Kekilli — Shae, for all you fans of HBO’s GAME OF THRONES — emailed me recently to alert me to some distressing news out of Turkey. (Sibel is German, born and raised in Germany, but of Turkish descent). Turkey, under the Erdogan regime, has officially withdrawn from the Istanbul convention that combats violence against women.
Here are the details:
https://edition.cnn.com/2021/03/20/europe/turkey-convention-violence-women-intl/index.html
Sibel herself has first-hand knowledge of what it means to experience violence, and she has long been an advocate fighting violence against women all around the world. She is not only an amazing actress (she gave Shae a depth the character never had in my books), but a very brave woman, and a true hero. I admire her immensely for all she has done and continues to do.
And I would like to echo her message to the women and girls of Turkey: Selam Ve Sevgiler.
Stay strong.”
