Major stars spotted as Game of Thrones Season 8 filming begins in Dubrovnik!

Game of Thrones Season 8 has been filming for quite a while now, and we recently informed you about some major changes that went down, and how the filming has now moved to Dubrovnik, Croatia. We now have confirmation that the filming there has begun, and we have pictures showing director David Nutter in the city, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) filming, along with (probably) Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen). Read on!

A new report by Dubrovnik Times showed a few pictures of the sets, including a picture of David Nutter, one of the directors for Season 8. Check out the pictures, below:

So looks like the filming right now is either for episode 1, 2, or 4 since those are the ones that David Nutter will be directing. The banner also shows that this particular part of filming still has Cersei Lannister in power. Moving on, we have pictures of Kit Harington filming as Jon Snow, in a location in Dubrovnik that hasn’t been used before, called Minčeta Tower. Check them out, below:
