Maisie Williams shares her first ever memory of Game of Thrones and it’s totally adorable

Maisie Williams always just needs an excuse to create a wave in the media and the internet – whether it’s hyping up the new season by sharing her ‘#lastwomanstanding’ post on Instagram or by sharing her latest fantasy of spoiling the show for a fan. This time it’s something adorable that she shared at the Game of Thrones panel of CCXP Brazil. Read on.

Game of Thrones had a Comic-Con panel after a leap of one year in Brazil this time. The panel members were the showrunners David Benioff, DB Weiss, John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark). And, it was a total gig as we got the much-awaited teaser: Dragonstone from the new season.

A round of questions went on from the two cast members and the showrunners at the CCXP event. Upon being asked what her first memory from the sets of Game of Thrones was, Maisie replied in a subtle fashion,

 “Meeting [Sophie Turner]…and to having a decade-long friendship with her.”

Except for being a bit bitter – having trust issues in the Seventh Season, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams have been soul sisters in the reel life and BFFs in the real. Moreover, Maisie is all set to be her friend’s bridesmaid when she marries Joe Jonas. Also, upon being asked by the showrunners, which character she would like to marry, she replied:

“Sansa Stark… because she’s fit and fierce.”

This is in fact, quite an adorable reply Maisie – I would say that!

Maisie then went to ask the showrunners when they came to know how the show would end. To which Benioff replied,

“Sometime after we finished the third season is when we knew.”
