Interview
Kit Harington presumed Game of Thrones was going to end after Season 6
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington rose to fame with his role Jon Snow, and has become a household name ever since. Though Jon Snow was admired for his bravery and heroism on the show, he was often ridiculed and later became a meme template for the internet for not knowing a lot of things. And it seems like Harington has absorbed that part of his character a bit too much.
In a recent interview with Total Film, Kit Harington talked about his character, Dane Whitman, from Marvel’s Eternals. And eventually the discussion turned to Game of Thrones. He said:
“I’ve got no idea whether my character goes on or not. I had read up on who he could be, or might be. So there’s the possibility for a longer trajectory. And hopefully, I think this is the tip of the iceberg for my character. I hope. But I just don’t know, you know? I’m as in the dark as anyone else. And I try not to live too far ahead in the future with anything. Even when I was in Game of Thrones, even on the sixth season, I presumed the seventh season wasn’t going to happen!”
Whether it is defending the earth from cosmic entities, or holding the ground for Castle Black, Harington seems to be clueless (or acting coy) about a lot of stuff. What do you think? Talk to us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones had several characters who started off as little kids and later blossomed into the bold personas we know and love so much. The child actors who were part of the show also grew up with it as the seasons progressed, and many of them have successful careers now. British-Brazilian actor Lino Facioli became famous after his role ‘Robin Arryn‘ in Game of Thrones. But recently, he’s in the limelight for his new character in the Netflix series ‘Sex Education’, and fans don’t seem to get enough of him.
Now much older, Facioli is on our screens again, this time as Moordale High student Dex Thompson – a nerdy teen who competes in the high school quiz team alongside Maeve Wiley.
He’s also whipped his kit off in the latest season, and a lot of viewers are finding it difficult to process that it’s the same person who played little Robin Arryn in Game of Thrones. Here’s what they have to say:

Game of Thrones had some of the most amazing actors in its cast, and the casting was so on-point that many of the stars became synonymous with the characters they played on-screen. Conleth Hill was so fabulous in his role as Lord Varys, today we can’t even imagine anyone else playing the role of Master of Whispers so perfectly. Even though Hill gained widespread recognition for his character on Game of Thrones, he was forever unhappy about a specific feature of his role. Showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss wanted Varys to be bald, and that made Hill feel really depressed.
In James Hibberd’s novel, Fire Cannot Kill A Dragon, Conleth gave a candid interview in which he revealed shaving his head made him “very depressed.” He confessed to having some initial reluctance about playing Varys, and thought the show would be about “Dungeons and Dragons.” Although originally taping for the role as King Robert, he revealed the producers called him back to read for Lord Varys.
The actor admitted he thought it was “nice bull***t” when the producers said they would come back to him about playing King Robert. When Conleth read for the role of the Master of Whispers, they asked if he could shave his head, to which he revealed he’d never shaved his head before and stated: ”I was very depressed.”
James Hibberd’s novel has revealed various secrets about HBO’s famous fantasy epic previously, such as the show’s botched pilot episode. Do you think Varys would have looked better with silver locks? Tell us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones was a beautiful journey for the cast and the fans alike. It was a show like no other, breaking records and gaining unprecedented popularity. The cast made lifelong relationships with each other. Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke may have played a couple on-screen for a little time on Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen, they have been great friends behind-the-screens in real life. So we can understand their over-the-top celebration when they finally reunited after a long and busy schedule.
Both Emilia and Jason have been quite busy recently, Emilia with writing her new comic book, and Jason with his new projects such as See Season 2 and the upcoming Aquaman sequel. They were delighted to see each other when they met at Game of Thrones co-showrunner David Benioff’s birthday bash, as evident from the picture below.

The 34-year-old actress told PEOPLE Magazine that Momoa, 42, got attendees “as drunk as humanly possible” — and she savoured every single drop. “I mean, I’ve never tried so many different whiskeys in my entire life. There were a couple that was really nice, and there were a couple that was paint stripper, and I literally was like, ‘Yeah I’m gonna down you, get hair on your chest.’ It was funny.”
“When Jay’s in town, you know it’s going down,” she remembered. “He walks into the room and you’re just like, ‘My man.’ It’s almost like a test, every time he sees [me] he’s like, ‘Can I still throw you around the room? Yeah I can.’”
