Kit Harington explains why he hasn't yet cut his hair and says Game of Thrones ending won't please everyone
A couple of months ago, Game of Thrones officially wrapped up filming the Final Season and it is a long wait until it finally airs in 2019. It’s both sad and surprising for the cast and crew members who have spent more than eight years working on the series, making a success.
Many of the cast members have batched up many plans after the series ends like Maisie Williams’ (Arya Stark) plan of settling down in a house full of dogs. Kit Harington (Jon Snow) too had revealed the plan of getting his long hair trimmed (Not by Melisandre this time!). Of course, we do understand how much weight carrying a small man-bun would put on the actor. Yet, we can still see him maintaining his Jon Snow look from Game of Thrones. But, why?
Well, Entertainment Weekly had the same concerns and interviewed the actor recently. Upon being asked why he is still maintaining his Game of Thrones look, Kit explained:
“We just finished filming. You can’t tell because I look exactly the same. They own me; they’ve just kept me like this.”
Kit also revealed that as the Final Season is under post-production, he may be required for a reshoot to accommodate a visual effect. Upon being asked what he plans to do once his requirements are no longer needed, Kit said that he intends to shave but grow his hair even longer. He ended by adding:
“When I shave, I look like a tired child.”
Now, let’s dig into the second update – Kit Harington talking about the bitter-sweet ending of Game of Thrones.
These days Kit is busy promoting his new film –The Death and Life of John F. Donovan and was interviewed by MTV News. Upon being asked about the fan-based theories and his take on the ending of Game of Thrones, the actor commented:
“I think a TV series that’s spanned eight-nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end…I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone.”

Of course, it’s difficult for us to guess the ending of the series and also for the actor to reveal much info. But, let’s wish him a good luck for his upcoming movie. That’s all on Kit Harington’s latest update in this article.
