Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet to part ways after 18 years together

Life is not a bed of roses. It is a rollercoaster ride that has its ups and downs, however, it does get easier with a partner by your side. It is true that finding the one for you is an extremely daunting task, and many who thought they’d stay together till the end parted ways quite recently, such as Shawn Mendes – Camila Cabello, and Gigi Hadid – Zayn Malik. Quite surprisingly, Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa is the latest celeb to join the list.

Momoa and actress Lisa Bonet have announced that they are ending their marriage of five years, recently. The former couple released a joint statement on Jason’s Instagram, writing, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so, we share our Family news, that we are parting ways in marriage.”

The post continued, “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy- But so that- as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other -to be who we are learning to become… Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life and our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible, Living the Prayer May Love Prevail! J and L.”

Lisa and Jason began dating back in 2005 after meeting at a jazz club. The duo got married over 10 years later in 2017. They have two children together, Lola and Wolf.

What a shame, but from their statement it is clearly an amicable separation without anger or bitter recriminations. They clearly still love, respect and want the best for each other and their family. I wish them well.

so sad… why can’t celebrities stay and be role models of this sacred holy matrimony!? so sad but if they are happy and their children are okay, who are we to judge.

Divorce is so easy, like suicide. Life is a compromise folks, live with it.
