Iain Glen teases lot of drama and colliding storylines in Game of Thrones season 7

Game of Thrones has a roster of impressive characters, but there are a few that you don’t just want to see getting hurt, or…. getting beheaded. Now, we have seen some characters facing an enormous amount of danger, and surviving throughout the show, and one such characters is Jorah Mormont. We have seen him survive not only the friendzone, but also a lot of duels, and scenarios where he could have died easily, and now we are seeing him slowly die of Greyscale, but we don’t want him to. Now, Iain Glen, the actor who plays the role of Jorah Mormont, has said that he doesn’t want to see his character die, too. Read on!
In a recent interview with RTÉ Entertainment, Iain Glen was up to promote his new film, My Cousin Rachel, and he talked a bit about Game of Thrones, and how Season 7 feels like the end is near. Watch the video, below :
Talking about the end of the show, and his character, Iain Glen said :
“I definitely want to hang in there, yeah, but I think everyone does.”
He also talked about how he had no idea about what his character’s fate will be :
“Dan and David the showrunners are very secretive. We try and trip them up and make them give something away but they never do.
So none of us really know, we certainly don’t know where it’s going. But even if I’m for the chop very shortly I would feel like I did pretty good. I survived pretty long.”
He then spoke a bit about how the show was nearing its conclusion :
“The story is going toward a conclusion. There’s no sense of treading water. You have storylines colliding. And the evolving drama and relationships are as good as they have ever been.
It definitely feels like the beginning of the endgame.”
