House of the Dragon showrunner Ryan Condal says there’s still lots of post-production stuff to do
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is currently a hot topic amongst fantasy lovers all over the world. Things have just become more interesting after HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys recently confirmed the highly awaited prequel series has finished production, and is currently in the post-filming process. They are also talking about an expected release date and when to launch the first full trailer. However, showrunner Ryan Condal says there will be some time before that comes to fruition.
On the latest episode of his podcast The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of, the House of the Dragon showrunner said, “we are picture wrap as of Valentine’s Day”. He is referring to the series of pictures posted by the cast and the crew during the wrapping up of production in February.
He added, “We at last finished. We did really well all the way through, and then Omicron really threw a monkey wrench…into the works. [I] Got to do all the hard work up to there but didn’t get to, y’know, applaud and shake hands.”
Condal also clarified that it will be some time until the Game of Thrones prequel is finally here, “We’re not anywhere close to done because we have lots of post stuff to do.”
