House of the Dragon Season 2 to feature ‘Vale Sherpas’

After completing filming recently in Bourne Woods, Surrey, production on the second season of House of the Dragon is one step closer to being finished. With an early 2024 release date, this movie is advancing extraordinarily quickly, and fresh details about the plot, the characters, and the setting are being revealed daily. At Leavesden Studios, filming is still ongoing, and we get another look at a set.
House of the Dragon Season 2 will introduce Vale Sherpas
The Vale is a mountainous region from Westeros, and since most of George R. R. Martin’s work is inspired by real life, so are his characters. Much like the Himalayan Sherpas who are accustomed to life at higher altitudes, Vale has sherpas too. One of them will be played by actor Thomas J. Jackson, according to a report by the fansite HOTD Croatia.
What will the Sherpas do in House of the Dragon Season 2?
A report by the same source states that Sherpas will have a similar role to their real-life counterparts in House of the Dragon Season 2. In season 2 of House of the Dragon, the Vale sherpas will accompany Princess Rhaena Targaryen, Lady Jeyne Arryn, and their sizable entourage on their journey to the Eyrie.
