One of the best things about the Game of Thrones television series has always been the character casting. They’ve even impressed George R. R. Martin, the man behind the GOTverse. Like its predecessor, House of the Dragon Season 2 features a cast that is full of well-known actors. One of the more recent ones who were revealed during the filming was One Piece star Vincent Regan. However, showrunner Ryan Condal forgot he was there on a renowned film.

Though it is understandable that the cast of House of the Dragon is huge, with several renowned actors from the industry, it is not easy to overlook someone like Vincent Regan, whose acting portfolio is perhaps the most illustrious among the cast. In the latest @propspodcast episode with westeros.org, Condal remarked while talking about Zack Snyder’s “300” movie prop:

“I smiled at this one because Vincent Regan is in House of the Dragon this year and he’s a delight. I loved working with him. And I’d totally forgotten he was one of the Spartans in the 300 until I saw this costume. And I was like, oh yeah!”

Why does Vincent Regan sound familiar?

Welsh actor Vincent Regan is well-known for his roles in a number of highly regarded motion pictures. Among the many movies in his collection are 300, Troy, Unleashed, Clash of the Titans, Lockout, and War of the Worlds. Recently, Regan was spotted in the new One Piece Netflix adaptation as Monkey D. Garp. What part the seasoned actor will play in House of the Dragon is currently unknown.
