House of the Dragon returns to a familiar location in Surrey for filming Season 2
House of the Dragon is an homage to Game of Thrones, and while the success of the original series helped give the prequel a boost, the series holds up well on its own. There were many breathtaking locations that were used as sets in the first season of House of the Dragon, and Season 2 will see a return to one of them.
House of the Dragon currently filming in Aldershot
Aldershot was the same location where the Royal Hunt was organized, and Rhaenyra secured her first kill in the form of a boar. Located in Surrey, a part of the filming of the second season is also taking place in the area, with several pictures from Redanian Intelligence indicating a site being sealed off for filming.

Prisoner Wagons spotted on the set of House of the Dragon
At around the same location, locals managed to capture a glimpse at a number of prisoner wagons being transported to a filming site, which might be used to carry the prisoners of war in House of the Dragon Season 2. As a number of major and minor wars will be filmed in Season 2, we can expect a lot more of them around.
