House of the Dragon renewed for Season 3 ahead of Season 2 premiere
Fans can rejoice as the story is not over yet!

It’s not news for the industry that House of the Dragon is a chart-busting series. Set years before the events of Game of Thrones, the prequel show dives into the heritage and past of one of the most successful and ambitious dynasties of Westeros. After an incredibly heartening season 1, House of the Dragon was unquestionably renewed for season 2.
Now, before the second season premieres, fans are excited to hear that House of the Dragon will return for season 3!

The official X account of House of the Dragon has posted a happy update. The story of the Targaryens does not end with the Dance of the Dragons and will continue in another season.
Though we don’t know other details like the premiere date and the possible events that will shape the narrative, just knowing that the story is not over yet is relieving. Moreover, fans are still waiting to see the magic woven by the showrunners in House of the Dragon season 2 which premieres on June 16.

The upcoming season is supposed to cover the rivalry and ultimate battle between the Blacks and the Greens. Only after witnessing the end of season 2, would we get to know what the creators have planned for season 3.
