Filming
House of The Dragon Season 2 filming confirmed to begin in March 2023
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon season 1 finished its run last year in December and received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critics. Some have even labeled it as being better than the first season of Game of Thrones. The making of the first season took a lot of hard work, planning, patience, coordination between various departments, and a big budget. The series has already been renewed for a second season, and production will begin in Spain very early on in 2023.
The exact date the production of the second season will begin has been recently leaked via Production List. Production List is one of several production listing websites that gives out the filling dates of films and TV shows with good accuracy. House of the Dragon is currently aiming to start filming on March 6, 2023. Filming is expected to start in Leavesden Studios, UK, as well as Caceres in Spain where the production will take place reportedly from March to June.
The casting is already underway, and from the most latest leaks, it appears the crew is preparing to film the Blood and Cheese storyline.
