House of the Dragon reportedly filmed a scene involving citizens rising up in revolt against Aegon II
Due to the several time jumps that have been noticeable over the whole duration of the series, the House of The Dragon Season 1 finale has brought us to the verge of a full-fledged civil war with the now-adult characters. Despite being compelled to occupy the Iron Throne, King Aegon II must now lead the Greens in a terrible civil war against his half-sister, Rhaenyra. And the outcome will be very nasty.
King Aegon II might face opposition in King’s Landing
Though Alicent Hightower’s eldest son Aegon is currently sitting on the throne, not all is well in King’s Landing. A number of citizens who still loved King Viserys and his chosen heir, Queen Rhaenyra, couldn’t digest the lie that was told to them, of Viserys choosing Aegon on his deathbed. Reportedly, according to House the Dragons fansite, there is a scene in Episode 7 of Season 2 depicting just that, directed by Loni Peristere.
House of the Dragon might finish filming in two weeks
The second season of House of the Dragon’s production just wrapped up in Surrey, and more is presently shooting at Leavesden Studios. An exclusive rumor claims that the second season of the Game of Thrones prequel might wrap up production by the end of September 2023.
