Here’s your chance to reimagine the Game of Thrones finale and win $2,000
Game of Thrones Season 8 wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. The season finale divided the fan base into two. One was satisfied with the ending, the other demanded a season remake. Some blamed the absence of George R. R. Martin’s next installment of books. While some blamed the showrunners’ piqued interest to launch a Star Wars feature film trilogy with Disney’s Lucasfilm. Even the show’s alum Emilia Clarke gets why fans were f**king p***ed about the final episode.
While fans are still petitioning to rewrite the infamous finale of Game of Thrones, here is your chance to rewrite your own Game of Thrones finale, and win a prize of $2000 while you are at it.
According to a report by CNN, satellite TV network USDish will pay a sci-fi buff $2,000 to binge-watch popular fantasy shows and rewrite the finale of Game of Thrones. The company is seeking “one lucky hobbit, or elf, or whatever you’re into” to watch 40 hours of Game of Thrones, The Witcher, House of Dragon, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The candidate will have 30 days to complete the task. Participants have to rate and rank the shows, make a short video reviewing House of the Dragon and Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and rewrite or vlog the ending to Game of Thrones.
USDish will publish the new ending for fans to debate. The job description states:
“This dream job is unlike any other! Not only will you get to travel to worlds beyond wonder, but you’ll have the opportunity to rewrite history. The series finale of ‘Game of Thrones’ started quite the stir, but you can put your spin on the award-winning HBO series. Give us a summary of how GOT should have ended and we’ll publish your version on our website for all the Thronies to see.”
USDish will also provide access to all the shows and even some snacks. You can send your applications by October 21 and must include a statement or video on why you’d be perfect for the job.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your laptop and start rewriting the Game of Thrones finale!
