Hand Of The Queen : An emotional tribute to Tyrion Lannister

Tyrion Lannister has had one amazing journey throughout the different seasons of Game of Thrones. He has been to the Wall, got captured and was taken as a prisoner to the Vale, won a trial by combat, was the Hand of the King for a small time, made sure that King’s Landing was defended against Stannis’ forces, was accused of murdering the King and had to escape to Essos after losing the trial by combat.

Even in Essos he was kidnapped by Jorah, was attacked by the Stone Men, captured by slavers and finally managed to reach Daenerys Targaryen in Meereen, where he almost died when the Son’s of the Harpy attacked Daenerys. He also managed to keep peace in Meereen, freed the Dragons of their shackles and finally he was made the Hand of the Queen by Daenerys Targaryen.

It has been a roller coaster ride for Tyrion. For long, he was treated badly and looked with contempt and yet, he refused to give up and now he has reached a point where he has come on top, in a position of power, where his talents are respected.
