George R.R. Martin’s struggle to finish The Winds of Winter is making fans lose hope
The last book in author George R.R. Martin‘s Game of Thrones novel series was released twelve years ago. In addition to penning his next book, The Winds of Winter, he has been busy working on a number of other projects. He used to plan releases, but he quickly discovered he was unable to carry them out. That’s why he stopped giving his fans any hope.
Fans doubt if George R. R. Martin will ever finish Winds of Winter
Most of George R. R. Martin’s fans, who have been waiting for The Winds of Winter for 12 years, aren’t happy with how he is dealing with his novel and his fans. When he recently admitted he is struggling with completing the novel, this is what they said on Twitter:
What do you and George RR Martin have in common? Neither of you have written any new pages of the Winds of Winter in the past year [Obvious] https://t.co/gGFkONg64j [Fark]

i think the funniest possible thing for George rr Martin to do is continue acting like he's writing winds of winter and then someday just quietly pass away, never having written another page of it

Scientists in Scotland have announced they have perfected the art of cloning a human being, but refuse to clone anyone but George RR Martin until the release of The Winds of Winter.
*100,000 years later*
The human race is extinct except for dozens of Martins all not writing.

I'd once again like to congratulate the GOAT of Entertainment Industry conmen, George RR Martin, on another successful heist. Just *can't quite* get around to finishing Winds of Winter, but can ABSOLUTELY license out the property all the way to the bank.
10/10. Incredible Con. https://t.co/4J6db0IMEz

Once again….George RR Martin has zero intention of ever completing Winds of Winter. I’ve been saying this since like 2016. https://t.co/XOwQmkRz5x

Is George R. R. Martin still writing The Winds of Winter?
Though it has been more than a decade since George R. R. Martin first started writing the highly anticipated novel of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, Martin has been quite complacent to fans’ remarks about his writing speed. He has even gone as far as to ridicule fans about their requests, asking them to stop pestering about The Winds of Winter.
The Winds of Winter might be delayed because George R.R. Martin killed off an important character
Recently, Martin’s friend and Outlander series author Diana Gabaldon shared some intriguing details about a lunchtime conversation she had with the author. During the talk, Martin asked her, “You ever killed somebody off that you later realized you knew you needed?” after he had told her about a writing-related issue.
