George R.R. Martin dresses up to watch “Barbie” with his wife

Author of Game of Thrones and other best-selling books, George R. R. Martin is one of today’s most well-known writers. He is a huge nerd who enjoys reading comic books, watching films, and television shows, just like his admirers. He and his wife Parris McBride just watched the movie Barbie, and the way he prepared to watch it was quite amusing.

Martin, who is known for his love of fictional characters, recently went with his wife Parris to the theatre to watch Margot Robbie’s “Barbie”. And he was quite well dressed for the occasion. He posted the following picture on his story with the caption: “I went to see Barbie with my lovely wife; she said pink is my color. #ImKenough”

George R. R. Martin is still writing Winds of Winter

Martin assured once more that he is indeed writing the much-awaited book:

“Yes, yes, of course, I’ve been working on WINDS OF WINTER. Almost every day. Writing, rewriting, editing, writing some more. Making steady progress. Not as fast as I would like.. .certainly not as fast as YOU would like… but progress nonetheless.

It keeps me out of trouble.”
