George R. R. Martin reveals the artist for A Song of Ice and Fire 2025 Calendar

Devoted followers of Game of Thrones eagerly anticipate the annual publication of the A Song of Ice and Fire Calendar, which showcases some of the greatest artworks available worldwide. They portray the magical setting of the well-known novel series by George R. R. Martin. The coveted author has already selected the illustrator who will be crafting the much-awaited calendar this year.
A Song of Ice and Fire 2025 Calendar will be drawn by Eddie Mendoza
Every year, George R. R. Martin selects one of the best artists in the industry to create amazing depictions from the world of Ice and Fire. This year, Eddie Mendoza will be etching them for the calendar. Martin announced on his blog, Not A Blog,
“From Skagos to Qarth, the Water Gardens to the Nightfort, journey across Westeros and Essos with artist Eddie Mendoza. He brings us both new takes on some of the classic series locations as well as never-before-seen locales. A Song of Ice and Fire 2025 calendar will be released on July 24th, 2024, and will be featured at the Random House booth at next year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The calendar is available for pre-order on Amazon right now for $18. You can see Mendoza’s other illustrations on his website.
