Very few people are lucky enough to get the job of their dreams. Game of Thrones was a life-changing opportunity for a lot of actors. The show launched them to heights they had never even imagined before. The show’s star Gemma Whelan, who played the badass warrior Yara Greyjoy, still misses playing her famous character. Even though she hasn’t completed watching the series yet, which might come as a surprise to many fans, she is all up for a return as Yara given the circumstances are right for her.

Whelan recently sat down to have a chat with Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley at Good Morning Britain, when Kate instinctively asked her, “Just playing on my natural prejudices, Game of Thrones? Would you ever consider coming back?”

Whelan replied, smiling, “I would love to do it again. With the same set of people and the same set of circumstances, I would love to. I miss it every year.”

She also revealed that the set of Game of Thrones was a safe environment for her baby daughter in spite of all the swords and dragons. The actress said, “I did, I took Frances. She was with me, so I’ve got great pictures of her with me in costume feeding her.”
