Pistol will launch on Hulu on May 31 and the miniseries will be available on Disney+. Trainspotting director Danny Boyle is heading up the six-part series about the Johnny Rotten-fronted band.
Williams, who is famous for playing Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, will be next seen in a new TV drama about the punk band The Sex Pistols. The series is based on guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol and Toby Wallace will take on his role in the miniseries. The Game of Thrones star will take on the role of Pamela Rooke – aka Jordan – in the new biopic titled Pistol. The show will follow the career of the British punk band and their rise to fame in the 1970s.
