Game of Thrones season 7 casting begins

It seems like Game of Thronesseason 6 had just started and now it’s coming to an end, with only two episodes remaining. Before the season has even finished airing, the showrunners and producers are already on their way to bring in new cast members for season 7. Game of thrones fansite Watchers on the Wallhas discovered that the casting for season 7 has begun, and there have been casting notices for two characters who will play a part in season 7.
Sources have revealed that two young northerners are required for season 7, one of them being a 16-year-old girl and the other a 10-year-old boy. Producers are looking for people with northern accents for the part that is supposedly“a high-stakes scene with leading cast members.”The physical appearance of the girl has not been specified apart from the actor required to be white.
The ten-year-old boy is also ‘high stake’ without the physical appearance having been revealed. The casting notices are vague in description and seeing how much mystery Game of Thrones likes to create when it comes to characters, we can’t be sure whom these actors would be playing. Since there are no books to give us even an idea of the characters, there is nothing to be concluded upon.
We can assume, when northern characters are included, that it could mean more flashbacks like those in season 6 including Lyanna and Benjen, who are 16 and 10 respectively. But since we’ve already seen a part of their story in season 6, we aren’t sure whether those same characters are needed. They could well be a normal, simple pairing of northern children needed for the show, but our brains have begun to churn seeing news about season 7 already.
Any ideas about who these characters might be? Let us know in the comments.
