Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is currently a hot topic amongst fantasy lovers all over the world. Things have just become more interesting after HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys recently confirmed the highly awaited prequel series has finished production, and very soon we might get a release date and a full trailer. And it looks like House of The Dragon might be getting an August release, according to some recent rumours.

Speculations were in the air when Redditor u/EntertainmentProud13 accidentally stumbled upon the supposed date while scrolling through actress Emma D’Arcy’s profile on her management’s website. There happened to be a single line at the end of the description of her role in House of The Dragon, along with the air date i.e. August 2022.

However, ever since the news went viral, the management took quick steps to remove that one line of information from D’Arcy’s profile page, leaving the fans even more bewildered.

Something similar happened earlier a few months back, when there were rumors about the Game of Thrones prequel airing in April, as per IMDB’s info on House of The Dragon. The assumed release date has been removed from there as well.

When do you think House of The Dragon will be arriving? Is it in April? Is it in August? How long will it take for HBO to get done with post-production duties? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
