Mental health is one of the most overlooked aspects of today’s fast-paced life. It is often hard for people to open up about mental issues. Those who open up face judgemental behaviour and are trolled by their peers. Earlier this month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey. They talked about Meghan’s mistreatment at the hands of the British Royal Family and why they left.

The interview inspired a lot of intense reactions both sympathetic and unsympathetic. Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan was definitely in the latter camp. He said he didn’t believe Markle when she talked about her failing mental health in particular. Although he later clarified that he takes mental health issues and suicide seriously. His words resulted in a huge backlash, with over 41,000 people filing complaints with ITV.

From there, ITV gave Morgan a few options: apologize, get fired, or quit. He chose to quit, which has set off a new round of intense reactions. One of them comes from Game of Thrones veteran Lena Headey.

Headey flipped Morgan in the clip, saying, “Piers Morgan, you’ve been called out, mate, on some true, true colours. Maybe we can pop in and do an episode of your podcast you may be doing from a shed. Not that there’s anything wrong with doing a podcast from a shed but I think you will consider your own fall from grace far worse than any else.”

Earlier, Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner backed Meghan Markle over the controversial interview. What are your views on the Royal Family drama? Tell us in the comments below!
