The success of Game of Thrones tempted the execs at HBO to venture forth into the mystical realm of George R. R. Martin’s novels, as a result, we have House of The Dragon, the first prequel, to be released very soon. HBO has also been playing around with several ideas that are set in the world of Westeros, and the most recent one will possibly make Jon Snow fans very happy.

A Game of Thrones spinoff circling on the life of Jon Snow after the events of the show is currently being worked on at HBO, proposed by none other than King beyond The Wall himself, Kit Harington. And just as Frodo needs Sam, Jon Snow needs Samwell Tarly. Hence the fans and the actor, John Bradley are looking forward to his potential return to the sequel-in-works.

Bradley recently talked to Digital Spy about the Game of Thrones spinoffs, and said, “I tend to think about it. I think we all left Game of Thrones thinking that we’d played these characters for so long and they had such a life to them, we’d like to sort of check-in with them and see how they’re getting on. We played those parts for so long that as soon as we’d finished, we felt sort of free of them in a way. Because it’s a lot of story to carry around and a lot of emotional life to carry around with you.”

“I think we’re all enjoying having a bit of a break from that and exploring new areas,” he continued.

“But in the future, who knows? I haven’t spoken to anybody about the potential Jon Snow prequel, but if somebody wants to send a script my way I’d be interested to read it.”

Just a few days ago, Gwendoline Christie talked about getting her own Brienne of Tarth spinoff show. Would you like Sam to make a return to the Jon Snow series? Talk to us in the comments below!
