Game of Thrones fan recreates the Red Keep using LEGO
Game of Thrones has had a lot of excellent architecture being depicted, with the most beautiful filming locations and buildings. One of the most important buildings shown throughout the series, is the home of the Iron Throne : The Red Keep. A fan has now made a LEGO version of the Red Keep’s Throne Room, and it’s magnificent! Read on!
A YouTube video, by user Tusserte, shows an overview of the LEGO model of the Red Keep. It took him a year and a half to make, and has over 15,000 individual LEGO pieces. Check it out, below :
The best part is that the LEGO model built by Tusserte, is how it allows for hot-swapping of certain elements like the windows, and the columns, so that the model can be adapted to the changing looks of the Red Keep as seen on the show, without needing a complete overhaul. We especially liked the way the windows could be upgraded to carry the Lion sigil of the Lannisters, as seen in the Season 7 trailer updated for Cersei‘s reign.
What do you think about the model? Would you like to see more such buildings made into LEGO models? Tell us in the comments, down below!
