Emilia Clarke has to be among the most well-known performers from Game of Thrones, no question. The 37-year-old actress gained enormous popularity for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO epic. Her recent involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Secret Invasion series garnered media attention. Clarke’s next venture will now begin at a new agency this year.

Emilia Clarke signs up for UK agency Hamilton Hodell

The new year has opened up new possibilities for Emilia Clarke, as she looks forward to newer projects. According to a report by Deadline, Clarke and Leo Woodall, the breakthrough star of White Lotus, have joined with UK agency Hamilton Hodell. The two have signed with every agency in the UK and continue to have several representatives in the U.S. London office. Representatives for Hamilton Hodell include Luther Ford, who portrayed Prince Harry in The Crown, Tilda Swinton, and Tom Hiddleston.

Emilia Clarke believes male stars shy away from female-led films

In an earlier interview, Clarke spoke on male actors’ reluctance to star in female-led films, “If you are a female lead in a film – and I’m trying not to take it personally – it is nearly impossible to find a guy to act opposite you. Men don’t want to do it. I’m just calling this shit out.”

“I take responsibility for it myself. I’m a big girl. But I don’t need to be your buddy. I don’t need your number. We don’t need to like each other on Instagram. We just need to turn up at work and be what we need to be to make each other better. Chiwetel did and was just an absolute joy. That’s rare.”
