Game of Thrones casts two new British actors for season 7
As Game of Thrones continues filming for season 7 in Northern Ireland and gears up for it in Spain, the casting for extras and a few new characters also seems to be on the roll. Recent reports from Watchers on The Wall suggest that two new actors have been cast for season 7. According to actor Joseph Quinn‘s agency CV he will be playing a character by the name of ‘Koner’ on the show for season 7. Since the character called Koner has never appeared in A Song of Ice and Fire series, we don’t know what this character is going to be doing on the show.
According to Quinn’s CV, he might be appearing in multiple episodes given the fact that it has his listed director as ‘various’. However, sometimes agencies use the word ‘various’ to indicate that no director has been assigned to a particular episode for the character, or they’re not in the know of it. You may know Quinn from BBC’sDickensian.
Moving on to the other person who has been cast, we have no news on what character he will be playing. But Irish actor Paul Ward has apparently already filmed his part for season 7, according to his CV. Ward has appeared on Vikings and Penny Dreadful, among other shows.
We can speculate whether these actors might be guards, lords, or more based on the previous casting notices issued in August.
