Maisie Williams says Game of Thrones season 7 will end with a massive cliffhanger
Game of Thrones is currently filming for Season 7, which is set to premiere in the summer of 2017. As we wait for Season 7 to arrive, we have been going through a lot of cast interviews, and a lot of them have been by Maisie Williams, hyping up Season 7. The latest one had her talking about Season 8, the end of Season 7, and more. Read on! While talking toTimeOut, Maisie said that the cast didn’t know what was going to happen next, but that they were prepared for the end, in their own way. She said :
“There are rumours, that if you make it from season one to season eight there’s a tattoo that we all get. We’re all waiting to see if we do make it. I was lucky enough to be in season one, even the pilot episode. If I do make it to season eight I will get it. It would be rude not to!”
Talking about where the story is going, Maisie said :
“It’s just kind of tumbling now. We’ve come to the climax and it’s rolling down to the end. It’s exciting. I really felt like at the end of last season everything was set up for how it was going to end. Every character came to a little junction in their lives. Now we’re all going to crash down together to however this show ends.”
When asked what us fans should expect from Season 7, she said :
“A huge cliffhanger.”
Maisie also sais that Game of Thrones is responsible for making her what she is, and that it shaped her, as a person and an actor. Talking about Game of Thrones and her career, Maisie said :
“I’ve felt restricted at times in my career so far. Restricted in my own life and my career, because there’s six months of the year every year that are taken up shooting this TV show. I don’t mean restricted in a negative way. It’s just pretty honest.
It’s quite exciting now. Game of Thrones is coming to an end because it means I can do whatever I want. If I want to go away for three years and travel the world I can. I can do anything. I can financially do whatever I want to do and physically will not be tied into anything. I’ve never had that.”
Maisie Williams also said that she knows what she wants to do after Game of Thrones is finished. For a 19-year-old enjoying massive stardom, Maisie seems to be dealing with it better than many others.
In the meantime, we are still a few months away from Season 7, and seeing Arya Stark being a badass, again, but what can we do but wait? Talk to us in the comments, below!
