Foghorn Leghorn is revealed to be a Targaryen in Space Jam 2 movie
We have always wondered how it would be like to delve inside the world of toons ever since we were kids. There have been many movies on the concept. Space Jam (1996) was a crossover between the world of cartoons and the basketball arena and was widely successful. Warner Bros is bringing the thrill of basketball and the comedy of our favourite cartoons back to the silver screen with Space Jam: A New Legacy. And it pays a beautiful homage to several of HBO’s classics, including Game of Thrones.
A preview for Space Jam: A New Legacy streaming in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival reveals several Looney Tunes characters have been spending their time in other Warner Bros.-owned universes. In the movie, Bugs Bunny and LeBron James have to travel to different worlds Warner “Serververse” to reunite the Tunes. These include the universes of Game of Thrones, The Matrix and Casablanca.
An unfinished scene in the preview shows Foghorn Leghorn living in the Game of Thrones world with Targaryen-style hair, riding a dragon and shouting “Winter is coming!” Speedy Gonzalez and Granny are shown living together in The Matrix. Speedy’s speed proves a natural fit for The Matrix’s bullet-time action.
Looney Tunes were also the most watched content on HBO Max back in 2020 post Game of Thrones era. It seems like people are still in love with the toons. What do you think of Space Jam’s homage to Warner Bros classics? Tell us in the comments below!
It is a well-known fact that teenage is the wildest period of everyone’s life. The mood swings, hormonal spikes, crazy attitude often leads one to do stuff they wouldn’t dare as an adult or a child. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke had her ludicrous time too, and she was as adventurous as an average teenager of her time. During one of her drunken activities, she was chased out of Blenheim Palace, where Winston Churchill was born.
“When I was 16, me and my friends were a bit drunk and broke into the grounds of Blenheim Palace,” the 34-year-old actress admitted according to a report by The Daily Mail. “And then we found ourselves kind of wandering into the Palace itself. The security guy with the big lights came, and we all ran back to a friend’s house.”
“Next day, we woke up and my friend’s mum was having a cup of tea with a police officer who was like: “What f***ing idiot decided to break into Blenheim Palace?”’
Clarke might have been more welcome at the Palace if she had repeated the stunt today. After all, who doesn’t want to click a picture with Khaleesi herself?
Game of Thrones cast and crew have been known to play pranks on each other as well. Do you remember any of them? Tell us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones had some of the best graphic sceneries in all of television history, shot at a variety of locations. Though the scenes may look beautiful on camera, they were not at all easy to shoot, often having filmed at the most arduous of places. It is common for actors to have a favourite moment from their projects they have worked on, Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington’s memorable scene is a bit peculiar. But we cannot blame him, everyone feels less stressed when they are relieved!
In a recent interview with Sirius XM, the actor famous for playing Jon Snow talked about his sweet memories from the show. He revealed, “I remember shooting up on this incredible glacier in Iceland, and I went off to take a pee, just in… somewhere in the wilds of Iceland. And I just looked out over this glacier and I thought, ‘God, I got the best job in the world.’ And that always sticks out to me because if I’m ever feeling grumpy about my lot, which, believe me, I can do amazingly, I think of that. And I think, ‘Now you’ve got a pretty special job.’”
He continued, “Part of the journey since it finished was just becoming proud of that show, you know, not running away from it and not running away from what it was and who I played in it, but just owning it and being proud of everything about it really.”
Though Harington went through a lot of stress while filming, he did seem to enjoy these moments. What is your favourite scene from Game of Thrones? Tell us in the comments below!
The huge popularity of Game of Thrones turned it into a pop culture icon. There’s hardly anyone who doesn’t know of the fantasy series, and we find it being referenced by many famous people occasionally. From politics to sports, Game of Thrones has made its impact. Recently, Junior Firpo, an Ex-Barcelona footballer, delivered a hilarious comparison between Leeds United teammate Pascal Struijk and a famous Game of Thrones character.
Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played Jaime Lannister on the show, is a recognised Leeds supporter. However, Firpo believes he’s found another connection between the club and the HBO series.
Firpo compared 21-year-old Leeds defender Struijk to fictional character Khal Drogo from the popular TV show Game of Thrones. American actor Jason Momoa is the supposed lookalike.
Firpo is certainly getting straight into the dressing room banter after his summer transfer. He responded to Struijk on Instagram, who scored in a pre-season 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
It looks like 24-year-old Firpo is integrating into the Leeds group very quickly. One of the greatest strengths in the last few years at Elland Road is the togetherness of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
A few weeks ago, MMA fighter Kayla Harrison compared the fight ring to the Game of Thrones. Have you heard of similar comparisons? Tell us in the comments below!
