Lights, Camera, and… Action! Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has begun filming in the Spanish city of Caceres. Starting October 11, the shooting will take place over a period of 10 days, and will be wrapped up by October 21. Several pictures from the set are already leaking out on social media platforms, as curious locals try to capture a sneak peek at the set. Fans have been speculating for long about who’s who in the upcoming prequel series, and it seems we have the answer to one of them.

Curious fans have been tinkering with ideas as to why HBO has kept the casting of some important characters of the series under wraps, for instance, the last rider of the dragon Vhagar, Prince Aemond Targaryen, the one-eyed. Although we don’t know why, we do have a first look at the controversial character.

Aemond Targaryen was the brother to Aegon II Targaryen and the son of Queen Alicent Hightower, and also the last rider of the biggest dragon at the time Vhagar. Though it is not clear from the picture, some are speculating Ewan Mitchell of The Last Kingdom might be playing the role.
