Fans share more pictures with Kit Harington in Iceland and other news
Season 7ofGame of Thronesis set to premiere in the Summer of 2017, and this is the first time the filming is being carried out in the same year as the airing. A couple of days ago, we had reported about some costume department crew members beinf inIceland, hinting that the production is returning to Iceland for filming, followed by Kit Harington, who playsJon Snowon the show being spotted in Iceland.
The crew members had been around Jökulsárlón in Iceland, posting the pictures to Instagram. The production is apparently supposed to be in the country for a couple of weeks. Shortly after, a fan ran posted a picture to Twitter with Kit Harington. Today we have another picture of fan with Kit. Check it out below :
Iceland has featured in the series back in Seasons 2 and 3, and seems like it will be seen again in Season 7, now, apparently to show the winter scenes with authenticity.
Apparently, season 7 will have a cold scene, which was partly filmed at theicy set at Wolf Hall Quarry, involving Kit Harington,Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), Rory McCann (the Hound), Iain Glen (Jorah), and 300 wight extras. The Iceland filming will probably be connected to that scene, so we expect to see the rest of these cast members there, soon.
