Here's how Game of Thrones fans reacted to Littlefinger's death in the latest episode 'The Dragon and the Wolf'

Game of Thrones Season 7 ended today, and the final episode, titled ‘The Dragon and the Wolf’, was quite a ride. A lot of things happened, but there was one that fans had been waiting for, for a long long time. Season 7 had one major problem, according to many a fans, and it was that the show hadn’t killed off a major character in a long time. Of course, in the last episode, we saw Viserion die, but the fans had been waiting for one specific character to kick the bucket : Littlefinger, a.k.a. Petyr Baelish.

We saw, in an epic scene, that Sansa and Arya were actually one step ahead of Littlefinger, and managed to trap him in a web of his own lies, with the help of Bran‘s power of seeing everything. Sansa then sentenced him to die, and Arya sliced his throat with that Valyrian Steel dagger, that was actually his, after he knelt and begged for mercy while crying.
