Fans react to Viserys Targaryen’s choice of bride in House of the Dragon episode 2

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has created a huge hype amongst fantasy lovers. The characters in George R. R. Martin’s Fire & Blood are always scheming and fighting to sit on the Iron Throne, and the latest development might disgust a lot of fans. In the second episode of House of The Dragon, under the growing pressure of taking a new bride after the death of his wife Aemma Arryn, King Viserys finally announces his decision in front of the small council. He chooses Alicent Hightower, daughter of his Hand Otto Hightower, as his bride-to-be. This shocks the viewers and the council, and enrages Corlys Velaryon.
