There have been several memorable death scenes on Game of Thrones, a lot of them were brutal and visceral. And it seems the prequel House of The Dragon is upholding the tradition, featuring an extremely brutal and bloody birthing sequence in the first episode itself. The penultimate episode of season 1, titled “The Green Council”, featured the murder of another recurring character, and though not as brutal and graphic as some others in both Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon, it was certainly uncalled for.

The poor old Beesbury was only showing his support for the Blacks, when Ser Criston Cole makes quick work of him. Here’s how the fans reacted to his death on Twitter.
