George R.R. Martin has cemented his status as a leading fantasy author with celebrated works like A Game of Thrones and A Dance with Dragons from his A Song of Ice and Fire series. However, in recent years, the renowned author has released little new material, leaving fans eagerly awaiting The Winds of Winter. That’s why when another famous fantasy author completed his new book, all eyes were on Martin.

Andrzej Sapkowski completes another The Witcher novel

After making an initial announcement last year, Andrzej Sapkowski recently revealed in an interview he has finished another novel in his The Witcher series. Sapkowski told Chimeres, “I have no plans right now. I finished the book. It took me maybe two years, something like this.”

Last year, Sapkowski also confirmed that his upcoming book will be a standalone work centered on Geralt.
