Fabien Frankel is receiving hate on Instagram for the actions of Criston Cole in Episode 2 of House of the Dragon Season 2. After breaking his oaths as a member of the Kingsguard, Cole tells Alicent he can no longer be redeemed.
He also sends Ser Arryk Cargyll to assassinate his twin brother Erryk to remove suspicion from himself. He reminds Ser Arryk of their oaths and their sanctity despite having broken them himself. These actions have caused fans to hate the character even more than in Season 1.
After Frankel took action, many hateful comments were no longer visible, and commenting was disabled on his posts. This measure ensures that further negative messages cannot be posted, allowing Frankel to focus on his work without the added stress of online harassment.
