Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones has become a pop cultural icon, and whether you like her character or not, you have to respect the queen when even ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ deems her a badass. As a result, whenever the strongest characters in TV shows and films are discussed, viewers are bound to compare their new favorites to the Mother of Dragons.

Emilia Clarke is in awe of Samuel L. Jackson’s acting

Clarke recently attended Marvel’s premiere for the upcoming series Secret Invasion, where she also did several short interviews. She told Access Online how much she admired MCU actors, Samuel L. Jackson in particular, “Oh my goodness, I just hope they enjoy watching Samuel L. Jackson give you everything you want and more.”

Emilia Clarke was pleasantly surprised about her addition to the MCU

Clarke, who is a Game of Thrones alum, was surprised to know that she could be part of more than one big franchise. She said, “Very, very exciting indeed. I didn’t know I was allowed to do another franchise, but apparently, I was so here I am. The best one.”

Who would win – Daenerys or Nick Fury?

On being asked if the Mother of Dragons would be able to take on the former director of SHIELD, she said, “So, let’s be real, Nick Fury is a gentleman, and he would understand that my dragons can burn anyone to the ground. I reckon what would happen is that we would get on really well and then take over the whole world.”
