Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is one of the most anticipated shows of 2022, and is currently, a high-priority project at HBO. However, the prequel show, based on the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, wasn’t the only idea under development. There were several others, some of them have been scrapped, while there are others at various stages of development. However, the one that has recently come into the limelight is a Jon Snow spinoff that’ll star Kit Harington.

Ever since the news leaked, fans have been wondering if it’s true, because it sounds too good to be true. Game of Thrones’ Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen, has stepped forward to settle all doubts regarding the rumors and has confirmed that this information is indeed accurate.

Clarke talked to BBC News recently, ahead of her stage appearance in the Anton Chekhov classic The Seagull, and revealed what she knows:

“He [Kit Harington] has told me about it. And I know it exists. It’s happening.”

She continued, “It’s been created by Kit as far as I can understand, so he’s in it from the ground up. So what you will be watching, hopefully, if it happens, is certified by Kit Harington.”

This interview confirms Kit’s involvement to a greater extent, and that he is really working on such a project. Do you think it is a good idea to go ahead with a Jon Snow spinoff without source material? Tell us in the comments below!
