Kit Harington dismisses the Jon Snow warging into Ghost fan theory

When Jon snow died, it was speculated throughout that Jon has warged into his direwolf Ghost after his death. Now that Jon Snow is back, Kit Harrington, the actor who portrays the character of Jon Snow on the show has certain things to say about the transition Jon went through and how it will affect his character. While talking to EW, Jon recently said that, “There’s a brilliant line when Melisandre asks: ‘What did you see?’ And he says: ‘Nothing, there was nothing at all.’ That cuts right to our deepest fear, that there’s nothing after death. And that’s the most important line in the whole season for me.”

Now, there was a theory given by fans which revolved around how Jon will warg into his direwolf Ghost after death and even the way camera was held on Ghost when Jon Snow was being resurrected implied the same. But Kit Harrington made a comment to EW which “dismisses fan theories that Jon’s consciousness was hanging out in his direwolf Ghost while his body was dead”.

Director Jeremy Podeswa, on the other hand refused to speak about this theory and said that, “”I cannot answer this question, I would say if you keep watching, all will be revealed. Better to leave it to the fans to discover.”

Kit Harrington then spoke about how Jon will be changed after his death and said that, “At first, I was worried that he’ll wake up and he’s the same, back to normal — then there’s no point in that death. He needs to change. Jon’s never been afraid of death, and that’s made him a strong and honorable person. He realizes something about his life now: He has to live it, because that’s all there is. He’s been over the line and there’s nothing there. And that changes him. It literally puts the fear of god into him. He’s seen oblivion and that’s got to change somebody in the most fundamental way there is. He doesn’t want to die ever again. But if he does, he doesn’t want to be brought back.”

Our beloved Lord Commander has seen the other side and he obviously does not want to go back.
