A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 wraps up filming

Following the end of House of the Dragon‘s second season, Game of Thrones enthusiasts are keenly tracking its storyline. Beyond the Targaryen civil war, additional spinoffs have maintained fan interest, with many anticipating further updates. HBO has unveiled a new prequel series titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and its first season has finished filming.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms finishes filming Season 1
HBO has managed to keep the filming of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms strictly under wraps, and hence, barely any leaks were found this time. We know that season 1 will consist of 6 episodes and premiere in 2025 and Ira Parker will serve as showrunner. Season 1 has recently finished filming, but the production is still going on, as reported by Nexus Point News. The completion of filming was also confirmed by Dexter Sol Ansell (Egg), who was presented with a drawing of Dunk & Egg.
George R.R. Martin is happy with Dunk & Egg casting
Despite his current disagreements with HBO, George R.R. Martin has expressed appreciation for the spinoffs of his work that are in development. In a recent interview, the author commented,
“I visited the set in Northern Ireland in July and loved what I saw. Great cast. [The lead characters] Dunk and Egg look as if they walked out of the pages of my book. My readers are going to love them. I certainly do. [Showrunner Ira Parker] is doing a great job.”
