Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke to receive MBE for co-founding brain injury recovery charity
Among the boldest and most committed actors in the movie business is Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones. Her two possibly catastrophic brain aneurysms during the Game of Thrones production didn’t stop her. She persevered in the face of extreme temperatures and lengthy workweeks. All because, more than her own mortality, she worried about disappointing the showrunners. Clarke will soon be receiving the MBE for her efforts in raising awareness about brain injuries.

Clarke, famous for playing the role of Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, said she was honored to be selected for Britain’s one of the most prestigious awards. She said, “It’s such an incredible honour, such an incredible privilege, and the most important thing for us is that it’s for everybody with brain injury.
