House of the Dragon casts first trans actor in franchise’s history
The casting of characters in the Game of Thrones series has always been one of its best points. Even the creator of the GOTverse, George R. R. Martin, is impressed with them. House of the Dragon Season 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, with numerous renowned performers joining the cast. The second season will also see a big step forward in the casting of actors from the LGBTQ+ community.
Abigail Thorn joins House of the Dragon Season 2
House of the Dragon has never been shy from casting LGBTQ+ actors, the greatest example being Emma D’Arcy, who plays Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen in the show. According to a recent leak by the Redanian Intelligence, professional actor and YouTuber Abigail Thorn will be joining the second season of House of the Dragon. The trans actor has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Two more actors join House of the Dragon
As the filming of the second season of House of the Dragon progresses, more casting leaks are being confirmed. Two additional cast members were recently found out by House the Dragons fan account. They include Sarah Woodard as Lady Serena and Ryan Kopel in an unknown role.
