House Estermont to join the Greens in House of the Dragon Season 2
The plot of the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is based on one of Westeros’ worst civil wars. Even though the Targaryens are at its epicenter, Westeros as a whole will be swept up in this violent cyclone, with very few people being spared. Every season, we are introduced to a number of new Houses in Westeros that we might’ve never heard of before. In Season 2, House Estermont will join the Fray.
Ralph Davis to play Leon Estermont
The confirmation of House Estermont comes from a set picture of House of the Dragon in Spain. In one of the leaks, actor Ralph Davis was seen in full costume, and later chilling with the main cast of the show. He is rumored to be playing Leon Estermont in the series. There’s no character by that name in Fire & Blood and seems like a new creation entirely for the show.
Robert Baratheon’s mother was an Estermont
One of the main houses pledged to House Baratheon of Storm’s End is House Estermont of Greenstone, a noble family from Greenstone in the Stormlands. East of Cape Wrath, they control the little island of Estermont. Three sons—Robert, Stannis, and Renly—were born to Lady Cassana Estermont and Lord Steffon Baratheon of Storm’s End in A Song of Ice and Fire.
