House of the Dragon Season 2 will have multiple viewpoints of storytelling like Game of Thrones
HBO is presently working on the second season of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon. Fans have praised the characters, plotlines, landscapes, and other features that make the fantasy epic so engaging, just as they did with its predecessor. Season 2 will give them even more reasons to love the franchise, at least according to showrunner Ryan Condal.
Ryan Condal is aware not all fans like House of the Dragon
Though House of the Dragon was largely a success, there were some who didn’t view the show as such. Condal told The Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview, “When you’re adapting a book with a rather passionate fan base, every decision can feel fairly loaded. Fire & Blood, [George R.R. Martin’s] book that House of the Dragon is based on, it’s this fake history that’s told from three different points of view.”
“So, we do have to invent a lot. George is part of the show, but it’s challenging to make decisions that service the narrative and this very expensive TV show. Somebody somewhere is going to hate this, but we’re doing it anyway.”

Condal went on to tease what we can expect from Season 2, “The second season will be more of the rhythms of storytelling in Game of Thrones that people are used to: multiple points of view, this person’s over here, that person’s over there. There are obviously big story moves and twists to come, but I feel like oddly the bold move — which was something that George insisted upon from the beginning — is that we had to cover 20 years of history to get people to where these women start the story, have children of their own who have now grown up to be at least of fighting or dragon-riding age.”
“That was the big ask of the audience. We figured if we could get through season one and get people to watch, we would have them. Now it’s a thing. People are paying attention.”
